Pockets

There are a total of 5 pockets on the Qurizo jacket . 2 on the outside front , 2 on the inside front and 1 on the rear lower back . The two inside front pockets are zip closure pockets and they have plenty of space to offer . The pockets are side on with a drop inner much like a suit jacket but with a lot more holding space . The 2 outside front pockets are top opening with a top flap that seals over with Velcro and a small but strong magnet in the upper flap .
I really liked this design as I ’ m a bugger for forgetting to close a pocket , be that for change at the fuel pump or just pulling off and then having to try and yank at a zip catch with a gloved had – that or risk your contents spraying across the ground when you lean into a corner ! So not only was the drop pocket great for gravity but the flap system that hits the Velcro actually ‘ snaps ’ closed with the use of the magnet . Anything you out in there is staying in there and that ’ s what a pocket is supposed to do . If you get caught in a serious downpour then the pockets do get damp , so best not to put documents in there .
Last but not least is the rear lower back pocket . This is a zip pocket and the zip runs vertical on the left hand side , I was wondering what this was for and sat there spinning the jacket around and inside out . There is a waistcoat style thermal liner in the jacket and unzipping this and then rolling it up – the liner slips perfectly into the waterproofed lower rear pocket . Brilliant idea , no need to guess the weather , if you ’ re cold have the liner in and then if it gets too hot , shove the liner in the back pocket , job done . There are also two ‘ pockets ’ in the liner but they are rather small and made of mesh with no close feature , just a mesh side open pocket .
