Stopping is not an issue with the fat tyres from Pirelli and while
you only have a single disc on the front running with a 330 mm
disc, radial 4-piston calliper with ABS and a smaller disc on the
rear being a 245 mm disc, 1-piston floating calliper with ABS
there was never a hint of being a runaway train.
You’re not on a KTM 1290 SA with 144Nm but you’re a lot lower
down and you do get the feeling of acceleration, perhaps as an
illusion like driving a go-kart at 30mph feels like 70mph but
either way it brings a big fat grin to your face. You’re looking at
around 7,500 mile intervals for the service and the Scrambler
does come with the Ducati 2 year warranty.
