The Outer Layer
Your bike jacket or suit is the outer layer.
This is your ‘hide’, your protection layer
and should be wind and rain resistant if
not proof. Good quality outer layers will
have a combination of water, wind and
impact protection along with the
important matter of ventilation.
In hot weather you now have all three
systems working to wick away moisture,
vent that moisture out and remain far
more comfortable for your riding
pleasure!
