The Lesser Known Explorer from

ell they all went off to play at
the launch of the Italian mile muncher the
Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally over in
glorious Sardinia! I say they as MEM is not
yet in that illustrious list of invites and so
we went down to the sun spot capital that is
erm .... well, Blackburn in the North of
England! Pulling into The Rocket Centre and
getting a coffee from the butty bar outside I
could see the Caponord looking at me
through the window. I’d ridded her sister
the ETV 1000 and I had hopes that she
would not hold it against me. The ETV 1000
with the brand Caponord took me across
Europe into the Ukraine, for no other reason
than I like the place. Now, if you ever want
to get a taste of the ‘frontier’ then few
places will serve you better without
heading deep into the arse end of Russia
than the Ukraine (if they ever stop fighting).
