As we spoke of you get the Bosch 9M+ ABS
system with the 1050 but that is applied by
Brembo at 320mm twin front discs, radially
mounted with a four piston fixed calliper.
While at the back wheel you have a single
disc of 268mm. This is the same set up that
you get on the 1290 Super Adventure at
222Kg dry but the 1050 is only 205Kg
meaning you get a whole lot of stopping
power at your command. The brakes do feel
sharp and responsive giving you the easy
sense of control and confidence in the wet
and the dry.
