Wind Break and Ground Sheet.
One idea at a time of course unless you buy two Bikekini covers to cover both jobs. That worked a
treat to be fair and works very well if you want a spot of privacy in crowded field as a wind
breaker. The cover sets up with ease to the bike and the upper tent while the tent pegs provided
peg the base down. It goes without saying but I will say it anyway, please don’t cook anything
under something that runs on petrol as a fuel source! Unless you’re going for a Darwin award
make sure there is plenty of gap between you, the fuel tank and the internal combustion engine
full of various oils.
As a ground sheet, spot on! This is as long as you’re sitting down and not looking to sprawl out of
course. But yeah you could have a lounge and leave your boots on if the grass is wet, at a rally
wet grass on a dry day is best avoided in my experience.
As an Overview
A great bit of kit with a lot of uses that also includes an emergency blanket with the heat
properties and I’d be happy to have this as just a profile bike cover with some unique and funky
graphics on it. The rest of the stuff that it can be converted to is a bonus to it being a great cover
that packs down very small and is super light. With all that said this is not a bivvy bag substitute
for anyone over 5’ tall.
