H ow much thought has gone into these gloves! Just about every aspect of winter gloves is covered here and at a great price for the rider. Dexterity is there with the floating knuckle guard and soft trim wrist. I loved the detail of the finger tip grip that came with the added notch protection on the fingers. Waterproofing was great at 2 degrees in the rain as the Lancashire clouds opened once again. I could have done with a Velcro grip on the gauntlet rather than a zip to get a better fit using various jackets. Great to have the added armour on the palm, being the first place that your hands tend to hit with an off, good thinking! Warmth was great with only the odd snap at the tip of the fingers after 45 mins of riding around the Forest of Bowland. You can tell the temperature is dropping but not enough to make you consider stopping the ride. Great snug fit the addition of the Velcro strap at the wrist to give a solid and secure feeling to the glove. Then just to cap off the biker thought there is the wiper blade on the left hand thumb. Great job and a wonderful all round glove, just needed the Velcro on the gantlet for me to make it an all out winner. There is a very impressive tech sheet that just compounds how much thought has gone int these gloves. Primaloft insulation 115g used for ultimate heat insulation and warmth Pittards digital goat leather covers the floating knuckle area, Kangaroo leather palm 3M reflective panels used on fingers and thumb Waterproof zip used for ease of use when putting on/taking off the glove. Velcro wrist closure for secure fit. TPR visor wipe on left thumb. Patented Dual Compound Knox SPS Scaphoid Protection System on palm. Silicon prints on Clarino panels on the ends of the first two fingers for increased grip on the brake/clutch levers. TPR blades injected onto 600D Cordura on the top of the hand to help divert rain/water off the glove. Accordion stretch panels on fingers and thumb for increased flexibility. Box construction fingers for increased dexterity. Bemberg polyester micro fleece liner for comfort and effective heat insulation. Waterproofing: Because the OutDry® membrane is bonded directly to the shell and completely seals the stitching. This ensures that the insulation remains completely dry and therefore the wearer stays warm.. Windproof – With OutDry® bonded membrane technology, wind is blocked on the outer surface. With conventional construction, cold air can penetrate the exterior and fill the space between shell and membrane. A brilliant pair of gloves with a lot of thought gone into them. 8/10
