AROUND THE WORLD I started 2008 and the project has been realized :
-2008 - Nordkapp when I was 18 ( 10 000 km , 4 weeks ) -2009 - Expedition AROUND THE WORLD when I was 19 years old ( 40 000 km , 5 months ) -2011 / 12 - expedition PANAMERICANA ( 100 000 km , 21 months ) -2013 - Expedition ANDE Amazon ( 4 months ) -2013 / 14 - Expedition Mission Amazon ( 11 months )
2008 Road to Nordkapp , 10 000 km , 28 days
When I was 18 years old from Croatia , without any special preparation , with a style like ' sit and ride ' ' went to the northernmost part of Europe , to Nordkapp . Alone .
Way up north ( 10,000 km ) of my first major independent travel , and the real challenge is specific because it is made by a very complex weather conditions and without proper motorcycle gear ( light jacket and linen military pants ).
The rain was getting me wet , the wind from the north kept me cold , and on some spots the wind was very strong . So , strong that it was weaving the bike . However , over the gloves that I had on my hands , I had to improvise and put my dirty socks and also use the heat of the exhaust if I wanted to feel a bit warm . But on top of that I was enjoying and doing what I wanted . Way up north came as a test and a preliminary trip to go on . Even when I returned I began to think about the trip to the Sahara . After the frozen north and the quality freezing it could be good to feel the sauna ( Africa ), however things are lined up so that I decided to make a round trip around the World .
