O n the other side, it’s a 70 mile spin to Orpington and we discover it’s barley noon, so John and I elect to push on to Wales and home. 200 odd miles later we’re back, after an unremarkable blast down the M4. Riding into the pub, we answer a few questions, but are soon subsumed by the general hubbub of the nothing that’s happened in our absence.
