going but it was early in the day and I told myself it couldn’t stay
this bad for long.
Every now and then a line through the sandy road would appear
which I’d jump onto and increase my speed hoping beyond hope
that the really bad stuff was now over and what was ahead would
be easier. Much like when you’re queuing up in the supermarkets,
the line that’s next to you always appears to be just a bit better,
but you can’t cut across the sand track without either stopping or
bumping through it. That leaves you stuck having to plough along
on the line you’re on, forever tormented by the sexier looking line
on your right or left. Of course there are lots of bikers out there
who can ride on anything and could pretty much make a bike go
