you enough. The customs folks asked me where was I heading in
a friendly way. I tried to explain that I was heading East to La
Quiaca to ride the Ruta 40 South to Rio Gallegos. He looked at
me like I was a talking cabbage. I was through in twenty minutes
and without further ado, I was off down the road heading for the
town of Purmamarca.
On the way you have to go through the mountain pass of Paso de
Jama as you follow the Argentinean Ruta 52 to Purmamarca. The
only way to describe the pass is that its like someone built the
Nürburgring on the side of a mountain. Feeling pretty reckless, I
threw the bike into every bend and found myself leaning left and
