First Edition
Welcome to the very first edition of Motorcycle
Explorer Magazine (MEM). This magazine has
been designed to be digital from the offset
rather than pdf copy of a print magazine. So you
will find lots of interactive stuff to do with
videos and links to other things and there will be
more to come.
The adverts will all link with the click of the
mouse or press of the finger to take you directly
to the home page for the advert deal on offer.
MEM is set up to work on your favourite mobile
(cellular) devices along with iPads and Android.
When looking at setting up MEM two main things
have been the driving force behind this! We
wanted it to be affordable for everyone – from
the guy sitting in a shanty town in Brazil to
someone snorting snuff in Mongolia. So, we've
made it FREE of charge – if it’s good enough for
Wikipedia and Google then the principal of
shared information and entertainment is good
enough for MEM!
Secondly – We wanted the magazine focused on
motorcycle travel. Importantly it was not to be
about what type of bike you used. The ethos is
on exploration and to focus on our common
goal – riding motorbikes and having a laugh
where ever and on whatever!
Of course there will be stories from those out
there and doing epic trips, it’s entertainment at
the end of the day but coupled with that
something that we all can do and more
importantly ... how you can do that.
