Continental TKC 70 Launched in July 2014 in Wales on the edge of Snowdonia with the help of overland icon Nick Sanders and a fleet of thirty big adventure bikes, the Continental TKC 70 will sit right in the middle of the more off-road oriented TKC 80 Twinduro and increasingly popular ContiTrailAttack 2 in our adventure sport range. The TKC 70 is the perfect tyre for riders who do the majority of their miles on the road, but still need a tyre which is more than capable when they decide to take their bike off the beaten track. The brand new TKC 70 features a number of core Continental technologies including a zero degree belt, and the unique Multi Grip compound which creates a dual compound style tyre from a single piece of rubber whilst helping to eliminate the feeling of step that riders experience when transitioning from one compound to the next in the corners. It also features a self-clearing profile, and the wide grooves also offer excellent drainage. This in combination with the unique Rain Grip compound offers exceptional wet weather performance, ideal in the UK’s changeable climate. CLICK HERE For more information and sizes Low level block movement and a circumferential central band on the rear tyre increases road mileage over the TKC 80, whilst also delivering a more comfortable, stable and quiet ride at high speeds. The TKC 70 also adopts the carcass construction of the road oriented ContiTrailAttack 2 to deliver light and agile handling without compromising its off-road capabilities. It has been extensively tested in Germany on both the high speed Contidrom test track, and on the autobahns. For peace of mind all sizes are also mud and snow rated in Germany, which means they have undergone extensive testing in a country where a winter approved tyre is a legal requirement.
