Retaining their manufacturers ’ crown and winning 19 of 20 Grands Prix , Ducati are unsurprisingly the brand to beat in the 2025 MotoGP™ title race . However , the Italians lost the # 1 plate , showing that their bike was not the most successful in 2024 , with champion Jorge Martin taking it to Aprilia . Despite that , Ducati never rest on their laurels , and with a powerhouse line-up of double world champion Francesco ‘ Pecco ’ Bagnaia and eight-time champ Marc Marquez , success will be par for the course in 2025 . So , what ’ s new for 2025 ? Beyond the lineup , the Desmosedici GP25 is an evolution of the groundwork done previously , and Gigi Dall ’ Igna has been quoted in the media saying the bike has small evolutions rather than a revolution , a step made from 2023 to 2024 . What ’ s clear is that the manufacturer , which took their 100th premier class win last year and possesses a 25 % win rate from all starts , will once again have a target on their back . Besides the bike itself , there ’ s a change for the incoming Marc Marquez , who will work with a third different crew chief in as many seasons . Having been with Santi Hernandez from 2013 until his move out of Honda in 2023 , he worked and won with Frankie Carchedi in 2024 . Now in factory red , his right-hand man is Marco Rigamonti , who has been in MotoGP since 2017 and worked with Enea Bastianini in 2024 .
DESPITE LOSING THE # 1 PLATE , DUCATI , WITH A LINEUP INCLUDING CHAMPIONS FRANCESCO ' PECCO ' BAGNAIA AND MARC MARQUEZ , REMAINS THE BRAND TO BEAT IN THE 2025 MOTOGP™ TITLE RACE .
