Enea Bastianini made his early mark with two wins in the 2013 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup while gaining experience in domestic Moto3™ competition. A full-time World Championship debut followed in 2014 with Gresini, where regular front running and three podiums confirmed his potential. Title contention arrived in 2015, highlighted by a first Grand Prix victory at Misano and a further five podium finishes. Consistency carried him to second overall in 2016.

After a tougher 2017, momentum returned with Leopard Racing and a fourth-place finish in 2018. The breakthrough came in 2020, where relentless top six finishes and key victories delivered the Moto2™ World Championship. A strong MotoGP™ adaptation followed, with standout performances on older machinery in 2021. A switch to Gresini Ducati in 2022 produced four wins and third overall. Injury disrupted factory Ducati seasons, though victory returned in 2023. Now with Red Bull KTM Tech3, Bastianini targets regular podium contention in 2026.
