Fabio Quartararo began racing at the age of four and relocated to Spain to fast track his development. Early promise turned into results with JuniorGP titles in 2013 and 2014. A rule change opened the door to Moto3™ in 2015, where immediate podium finishes and pole positions marked him out as a standout talent, despite an ankle injury interrupting his progress. Advancement through Moto2™ followed, highlighted by a commanding victory and pole position at Barcelona in 2018.

His MotoGP™ debut in 2019 exceeded expectations. Seven podiums secured Rookie of the Year honours and fifth in the standings. Further wins arrived in 2020, before inconsistency halted a title challenge. A factory Yamaha promotion in 2021 delivered instant reward. Four victories, ten podiums and five poles sealed a historic MotoGP™ World Championship. Later seasons proved tougher as performance dipped. Renewed momentum late in 2024 and 2025 sets the tone for 2026, where Quartararo spearheads Yamaha’ s new V4 project.
