Fabio Di Giannantonio built momentum through European Moto3™ and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, emerging as a title contender in 2015. A move to Gresini followed, where steady progress delivered multiple podiums and a breakthrough season in 2018, finishing second overall with his first Grand Prix victories. Promotion to Moto2™ brought immediate impact. Podium finishes secured Rookie of the Year honours and set up a long awaited first win at Jerez in 2021, earning a step to MotoGP™.

His premier class debut in 2022 showed promise, highlighted by pole position at Mugello. A late season surge in 2023 transformed his career. A maiden MotoGP™ podium was followed by a first victory in Qatar. A switch to VR46 followed. Injury disrupted 2024, but resilience returned in 2025 with four podium finishes. Remaining with Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Di Giannantonio targets race wins again in 2026.
