PT Grand Prix of Thailand
There ’ s a great range of riders – and nationalities – who could conquer the season . Jake Dixon endured a tough 2024 , starting the year injured but bouncing back with two wins as part of a purple patch of four consecutive rostrums , a feat unmatched by any other rider . If he can replicate that form , the Brit will be a strong contender , though he ’ ll have to adapt to a new team in Elf Marc VDS Racing and a new chassis in the Boscoscuro .
Tony Arbolino vacates the team to join the allnew Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Boscoscuro team alongside Izan Guevara . Meanwhile , the OnlyFans American Racing Team retains Joe Roberts , a Grand Prix winner last year , and Marcos Ramirez , who earned a second podium in the class .
Don ’ t overlook Diogo Moreira : the Brazilian star , highly regarded as a major emerging talent , finished his rookie season last year with frequent top tens and a first podium . The rookie of the year aims to make history as the first Brazilian winner in the intermediate class . Watch this space !
Beyond the established names in the class , fresh , fast , and familiar faces are stepping into Moto2 . David Alonso ’ s graduation is a mouthwatering prospect as he teams up with his Moto3 sparring partner and long-time rival Dani Holgado . Likewise , 2024 Moto3 winners Collin Veijer and Ivan Ortola move up to Moto2 to earn their stripes at the next level .
Podium finishers Filip Salač , Senna Agius , and Deniz Öncü – the latter two rookies last year – seek to consolidate their fine 2024 campaigns . Additionally , reigning World Supersport champion Adrian Huertas follows in Manuel Gonzalez ’ s footsteps , switching to Moto2 with the Italtrans Racing Team .
In total , 30 riders from 14 countries across 6 continents will chase the title in what promises to be another epic year of Moto2 .
