21 Fabio Di Giannantonio

FEDERAL OIL GRESINI Moto2 73 POINTS
Fabio Di Giannantonio caused a stir in 2016 – his debut season in Grand prix – by outshining more fancied rookies Nicolo Bulega and Aron Canet across 18 races while riding for the Gresini Moto3™ squad . An expected championship challenge never quite materialised in 2017 or 2018 when riding for the same squad , although ‘ Diggia ’ showed his class by scoring two podiums in each of his two seasons riding for the Speed Up team in Moto2™ . He moves back to the Gresini Moto2 squad and a Kalex chassis for 2021 , where he is expected to challenge for the title .

23 Marcel Schrotter

LIQUI MOLY INTACT GP 66 POINTS
The German struggled to build on early promise shown in the 125cc class , scoring just one top-ten finish ( a ninth at Assen in 2011 ) followed in the three junior category campaigns before a move to Moto2™ in 2012 . By 2014 he had earned a call up to the Tech 3 squad and using its Mistral 610 chassis , he was a consistent point scorer . But after switching between Kalex and Suter chassis in the following years , Schrotter finally found his home in the Dynavolt Intact squad on a Kalex frame . He has enjoyed a solid start to this year .
