Alex Rins claimed the JuniorGP title in 2011 before stepping into Moto3™ full time in 2012, earning Rookie of the Year honours. A fierce title fight followed in 2013, narrowly missing the crown, before injury affected progress in 2014. A move to Moto2™ in 2015 proved successful. Rins took race wins in his rookie season and remained a title contender in 2016, finishing third overall. Promotion to MotoGP™ with Suzuki came in 2017. Podiums arrived in 2018 and breakthrough victories followed in 2019 at Austin and Silverstone. Rins continued his rise in 2020, adding another win and multiple podiums to secure third in the Championship. Crashes hindered his 2021 campaign, but he rebounded strongly in 2022 with memorable wins at Phillip Island and Valencia. A move to Honda brought victory in 2023 before injury curtailed his season. Now with Yamaha, Rins enters 2026 focused on helping develop the new V4 project and returning to the podium.
