El debut a tiempo completo en la escena mundialista llegó para Bezzecchi en 2017 , cuando disputó la campaña a lomos de la poco potente maquinaria CIP Mahindra . Se trasladó a la estructura PruestelGP KTM para 2018 y luchó por el campeonato , consiguiendo tres victorias y seis podios más por el camino . Tuvo un bautismo de fuego en su campaña de rookie en Moto2™ a lomos de un chasis KTM poco competitivo , pero un cambio al equipo Sky Racing VR46 y a la maquinaria Kalex para 2020 dio como resultado dos victorias en carreras de Moto2™ y cuatro podios más . Se esperaba que siguiera luchando por el título con la misma montura en 2021 , pero nunca llegó a materializarse , a pesar de una victoria y siete podios . En 2022 da el salto a MotoGP™ con el Mooney VR46 Racing Team a lomos de una Ducati GP21 .

A full-time debut arrived for Bezzecchi in 2017 , when he contested the year aboard the underpowered CIP Mahindra machine . He moved to the PruestelGP KTM squad for 2018 and fought for the championship , scoring three wins and six further podiums along the way . He endured a baptism of fire in his rookie Moto2™ campaign aboard an uncompetitive KTM chassis , but a switch to the Sky Racing VR46 team and Kalex hardware for 2020 resulted in two Moto2™ race wins and four further podiums . He was expected to kick on and fight for the title in the same set-up in 2021 , but that never quite materialised , despite one race win and seven podiums . He moves up to MotoGP™ in 2022 with Mooney VR46 Racing Team aboard a Ducati GP21 .
