Jerez vuelve a convertirse en punto de encuentro para la afición nacional e internacional , en un año en el que recuperaremos las sensaciones y la emoción de vivir el Gran Premio de España de MotoGP™ de forma presencial .
Como alcaldesa , y en nombre de toda la ciudad , quisiera expresar mi bienvenida y cariño al gran público que estos días tendrá la oportunidad de reencontrarse con nuestro Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto , que ya está preparado para acoger una de las pruebas deportivas más importantes de la temporada .
El Gran Premio Red Bull de España 2022 nos invita a afrontar con optimismo y responsabilidad una nueva etapa en la que , con la prudencia y prevención sanitaria correspodientes , consolidemos el protagonismo de una ciudad que vive el mundo del motor como ninguna otra .
Nuestro reto es que Jerez siga creciendo en atractivos y singularidad como ciudad del motor , y de su magnífica afición a la que acogemos con un especial y mayor entusiasmo , si cabe , tras todas las vicisitudes vividas en tiempos de pandemia que afortunadamente parecen quedar atrás .
El Ayuntamiento de Jerez reitera su compromiso con este Gran Premio de España de MotoGP™ desde el liderazgo que venimos asumiendo en la gestión del Circuito de Jerez- Ángel Nieto , junto a organizadores e instituciones .
Por ello , vamos a seguir trabajando para rentabilizar y multiplicar en términos de talento , empleo y riqueza el impacto de nuestro Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto , a través de los Fondos Europeos y nuestro proyecto para impulsar el Centro de Investigación , Desarrollo e Innovación del Motor de Jerez .

Once again Jerez becomes a meeting point for national and international fans in a year when we recover the emotion of experiencing the Spanish MotoGP™ Grand Prix in person .
As mayor , and on behalf of the entire city , I would like to welcome and express my affection for the general public who will have the opportunity to come to our famous Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit , which is already prepared to host one of the most important sporting events of the season .
The 2022 Red Bull Spanish Grand Prix is a chance for us to face this new stage with optimism and responsibility . With the requisite care and health prevention measures , we will consolidate Jerez ’ s reputation as a city that lives for racing like no other .
Our challenge is for Jerez to continue growing in attractions and uniqueness as a motor city . We welcome the amazing fans with special and greater enthusiasm , after all the difficulties experienced in times of the pandemic , which , fortunately , seem to be left behind .
Jerez City Council reiterates its commitment to this MotoGP™ Spanish Grand Prix from the leadership that we have been assuming in the management of the Ángel Nieto Circuit , together with the organisers and institutions .
For this reason , we are going to continue working to monetise and multiply the impact of our Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit in terms of talent , employment and wealth , through European Funds and our project to promote the Centro de Investigación , Desarrollo e Innovación del Motor de Jerez .
