A 16-year old Enea Bastianini thrilled in his first season in Moto3™ . However , the Italian couldn ’ t muster a full title challenge in the following years , despite spells with Gresini Honda ( from 2014 to 2016 ), Estrella Galicia 0,0 Honda in 2017 and Leopard Racing in 2018 . It was only after stepping up to Moto2™ with Italtrans when we saw the best of Enea . He scored two podiums in 2019 . But in 2020 he came into his own , winning the world title and earning a place in the Esponsorama Racing Ducati team for 2021 . After a steady start , Bastianini claimed sensational podiums in both Misano races . He takes over a year-old Ducati GP21 for this season and has been one of the surprise packages of the season , taking three brilliant wins in the first half of the year .
