Debuttante in Moto3™ nel 2012 , è passato alla squadra ufficiale Mahindra nel 2013 e 2014 . Un anno nella squadra Red Bull KTM Moto3™ di Aki Ajo lo ha portato nel 2015 a sei vittorie e alla lotta per il campionato . Passato alla Moto2™ l ’ anno successivo , nel 2017 si è riunito ad Ajo ma non è riuscito a battere Francesco Bagnaia nella corsa al titolo 2018 . L ’ anno seguente è passato in top class nel team satellite KTM . Nessuno si aspettava che vincesse due gare nel 2020 con i colori Tech 3 , incluso un memorabile successo nel GP di casa . Promosso ufficiale KTM nel 2021 , nonostante una brillante vittoria a Barcellona , ha faticato nella seconda metà della stagione , anche a causa di un infortunio al polso subito nelle prove libere del GP di Stiria . Nel 2022 finora è stato poco costante .

After making his Moto3™ debut in 2012 , he switched to Mahindra ’ s factory Moto3™ squad for 2013 and ’ 14 . A year in Aki Ajo ’ s Red Bull KTM Moto3™ squad in 2015 resulted in six wins and a championship challenge . Oliveira moved to Moto2™ the following year and by 2017 he was reunited with Ajo . He just fell short of beating Francesco Bagnaia to the Moto2™ World Championship in 2018 , but he moved to KTM ’ s satellite MotoGP™ team for 2019 . Nobody expected him to win two races in 2020 in Tech 3 colours , including a memorable victory at his home GP . He stepped up to KTM ’ s factory team in 2021 . Despite a brilliant win in Barcelona , he struggled badly in the second half of the season , in part due to a wrist injury suffered in free practice for the Styrian GP . He ’ s back and refreshed for 2022 but has struggled to find any form of consistency so far .
