Der Spanier war beim Grand Prix in Frankreich aufgrund eines Taubheitsgefühls in der Hand gestürzt - eine Konsequenz des Sturzes in Portimao im April . “ Damit das besser wird gibt es nur eine Möglichkeit und die ist , dass ich mich nach Barcelona operieren lassen ”, sagte er . “ Das will ich zu 100 Prozent , damit ich für die Zukunft gerüstet bin .” Außerdem glaubt er , dass sein 22er Motor - in einer anderen Variante als die Werksfahrer Jack Miller und Pecco Bagnaia haben - ein Grund für seine zuletzt nicht ganz so guten Ergebnisse ist . “ Mit dem neuen Motorrad und dem Motor habe ich richtig Probleme , hinten Grip zu finden .”

Jorge Martin had an operation after the Barcelona race to alleviate a nerve issue . The Spaniard crashed out of the French GP due to a numbness in his hand , a consequence of his crash at Portimao last April . “ The solution to improve it is to have surgery after Barcelona .” he said . “ I wanted to make it 100 % for the future .” He also feels his ’ 22-spec engine – different to that used by factory riders Jack Miller and Pecco Bagnaia – has been a reason behind his recent poor run . “ With this new bike and engine I am struggling a lot to find the rear grip .”
Aprilia und RNF spannen für 2023 zusammen
Beim Italien-Grand-Prix in Mugello hat Aprilia sein neues Satelliten-Team für 2023 und 2024 vorgestellt : Das RNF MotoGP™ Team . Eine Option für zwei weitere Jahre sei ebenso verankert . Es wird das erste Mal überhaupt , dass Aprilia in der MotoGP™- Klasse ein Satelliten-Team betrieben wird . RNF-Teambesitzer Razlan Razali und das Werk werden bei der Fahrerwahl zusammen entscheiden . Außerdem sollen in der neuen Struktur auch Techniker und Renningenieure von Aprilia ausgebildet werden . “ Wir denken natürlich an die Fahrer und die höchstmögliche Konkurrenzfähigkeit , aber wir wollen auch eine neue Generation an Ingenieuren , Technikern und Managern im Team aufwachsen sehen ”, so Rivola .
Aprilia to partner with RNF for 2023
During the Italian Grand Prix , Aprilia confirmed the RNF MotoGP™ team will become the factory ’ s Satellite outfit for 2023 and ’ 24 , with an option to extend for two further years . It will be the first time Aprilia has ever had a satellite squad in the MotoGP™ class , and marks further progress in its fortunes . Along with RNF team owner Razlan Razali , the factory will be responsible for rider choice , and will also use the outfit to train and grow its factory race engineers . “ We are thinking of the riders and the best competitiveness , but also of raising new generations of engineers , technicians and managers ( in the team ),” said Rivola .
