Espargaro und Viñales verlängern bei Aprilia für 2023 und 24
Aprilia hat die Verlängerungen der Verträge in der MotoGP™ für 2023 mit den aktuellen Werksfahrern Aleix Espargaro und Maverick Viñales bestätigt . Beide Piloten unterschrieben für zwei weitere Jahre und bleiben dem Werk aus Noale bis mindestens Ende 2024 treu . “ Ich habe mir nicht einmal über andere Optionen Gedanken gemacht , denn ich denke , dass Kontinuität , Konstanz und Stabilität am Ende Leistung erzeugen ”, so Aprilia-Chef Massimo Rivola . “ Wir arbeiten nicht nur mit Fahrern , sondern auch mit Menschen , mit Menschen , die Teil des ganzen sind . Aleix hat es mit uns geschafft , eine Familie aufzubauen und wir sehen Maverick als jüngstes Mitglied auch schon als Teil dieser Familie .”
Espargaro and Viñales renew with Aprilia for ’ 23 and ‘ 24
Two major pieces fell into place in the MotoGP™ jigsaw for 2023 as Aprilia confirmed the contract renewals of current riders Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales . Both riders have signed deals to stay with the Noale factory until the end of 2024 . “ I didn ’ t even consider [ other ] options because I do think that continuity , consistency and stability means performance ,” said Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola . “ We are working not just with riders but also with human beings , with guys that are part of - well [ Espargaro ] managed to build a family with us and we see Maverick quite inside our family .”
Umstrukturierung bei KTM
KTM geht mit einer Reihe von Fahrern aktiv ins Gespräch , um das Lineup für 2023 zusammenzustellen . Darunter sind : Jack Miller , Alex Rins und Pol Espargaro . Der Australier Miller scheint ganz oben auf der Wunschliste zu stehen . Die Chefetage in Mattighofen zieht in Erwägung , den Australier im Werksteam neben Brad Binder zu platzieren . Miguel Oliveira hat von KTM den Wunsch übermittelt bekommen , dass man ihn gern behalten würde , aber dass er eventuell zurück ins Tech 3 Kundenteam kommen würde . Der Portugiese bleibt aber hartnäckig , dass er einen Schritt zurück ins KTM-Satelliten-Team nicht akzeptieren würde . “ Ich habe den Managern gesagt , dass ich den Platz bei Tech 3 nicht akzeptieren werde . Ich will meinen Platz im Werksteam . Wenn das nicht möglich ist , werde ich andere Optionen in Erwägung ziehen .”
KTM ’ s reshuffle
KTM is actively pursuing a number of riders to complete its rider line up for 2023 , including Jack Miller , Alex Rins and Pol Espargaro . Australian Miller appears to be at the top of their wish list , with factory bosses considering placing him in their factory team next year , alongside Brad Binder . Miguel Oliveira has been told KTM wish for him to stay , but that may be in Tech 3 , its satellite team . But the Portuguese rider was adamant that he would not accept stepping down to KTM ’ s satellite team . “ I told the management that I won ’ t accept the Tech 3 spot . I want my factory seat . If this is not possible , I will take other options into consideration .”
