Raul Fernandez stammt aus der Nähe von Madrid und schrieb 2018 die ersten Schlagzeilen , als er FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junioren-Weltmeister wurde . 2019 wechselte er daher in die Moto3™- Weltmeisterschaft . 2020 zeigte er vor allem in den Qualifyings starke Leistungen . In Aragon stand er erstmals auf dem Podest , der erste Sieg gelang ihm beim Europa-GP . In Valencia und Portimao holte er noch ein weiteres Podest und einen weiteren Sieg . 2021 wechselte er in die Moto2™ Klasse und zeigte weiter sein Talent : Er gewann acht Rennen und verpasste den WM-Titel um gerade vier Punkte . 2022 erfolgt daher sein Aufstieg in die MotoGP™-Klasse , wo er im Tech 3 KTM Team fährt und den Titel “ Rookies des Jahres ” in Angriff nimmt - wenn nicht noch mehr !

Hailing from outside Madrid , Raul Fernandez shot to prominence by winning the 2018 FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship . In 2019 , the teenager moved into the Moto3™ World Championship full time . But it wasn ’ t until 2020 that he enjoyed his breakout year , with stunning qualifying times meaning he was regular sight on pole position . A first podium in Aragon was followed up by a maiden victory in the European GP , while he earned another podium and victory in the season ending Valencia and Portimao GPs respectively . He continued his upward trajectory in 2021 , with a string of sensational performances in Moto2 . Fernandez won eight races and missed out on the world title by just four points . By then he was confirmed to step up to MotoGP™ with Tech 3 KTM in 2022 , when he will be expected to challenge for the Rookie of the year honour , if not more .
