Darryn Binder ist ein weiterer Fahrer , der auf seinem Weg nach oben durch den Red Bull Rookies Cup gekommen ist . Seine erste Saison in der Moto3™-Weltmeisterschaft bestritt er im Jahre 2015 . Ein Jahr später feierte er auf Phillip Island in Australien als Vierter sein bis da hin bestes Ergebnis . Trotz einer Verletzung im Jahre 2017 konnte er sich weiter steigern und fuhr regelmäßig in die Top-Ten , Punkte und erneut ein bestes Ergebnis als Vierter . 2018 wechselte er ins Red Bull KTM Ajo Team , doch es wurde erneut eine schwierige Saison . 2019 wechselte er ins CIP KTM Team und holte für diese Mannschaft 2020 in Barcelona seinen ersten Sieg . 2021 wechselte Binder ins Petronas Sprinta Racing Team . Mit Top-Speed-Problemen war nicht mehr als der siebente WM- Rang drin . Doch die Enttäusch hielt sich in Grenzen , denn Binder stieg 2022 mit RNF direkt in die MotoGP™ auf , wo er eine Jahres-Yamaha M1 bekam .

Another graduate of the Red Bull Rookies Cup , Darryn Binder faced his first full season in the Moto3™ class in 2015 . In 2016 the South African made real inroads , scoring a fourth place in Phillip Island and for 2017 Binder remained with the team , and made big progress despite an injury – taking top tens , points finishes and a best result of fourth . In 2018 , he moved to Red Bull KTM Ajo but had a tough season . In 2019 he switched to CIP KTM and he took his first victory in Barcelona in 2020 . In 2021 , he teamed up with Petronas Sprinta Racing but top speed issues meant he could only finish seventh in the championship . Any disappointment was tempered by the fact he secured a seat in the MotoGP™ class for 2022 with RNF Yamaha , where he will compete aboard a year-old M1 .
