Fabio Di Giannantonio caused a stir in 2016 – his debut season in Grand prix – by outshining more fancied rookies Nicolo Bulega and Aron Canet across 18 races while riding for the Gresini Moto3™ squad . An expected championship challenge never quite materialised in 2017 or 2018 when riding for the same squad , although ‘ Diggia ’ showed his class by scoring two podiums in each of his two seasons riding for the Speed Up team in Moto2™ . He moves back to the Gresini Moto2 squad and a Kalex chassis for 2021 , where he is expected to challenge for the title .

The Californian claimed 10th on his Moto2™ debut in Brno in 2017 . Roberts ’ superb season saw him sign with RW Racing GP on-board the new NTS chassis for 2018 , where he claimed a best finish of P13 . A move to the American Team on board an underperforming KTM chassis didn ’ t go to plan in 2019 , but 2020 proved a more joyous year , as he earned his first podium on the Grand Prix circuit in the Czech GP . 2021 sees him move to Italtrans Racing Team , with aspirations of a title tilt , he will be one to watch this year .
