Fabio Di Giannantonio caused a stir in 2016 – his debut season in Grand prix – by outshining more fancied rookies Nicolo Bulega and Aron Canet across 18 races while riding for the Gresini Moto3™ squad . An expected championship challenge never quite materialised in 2017 or 2018 when riding for the same squad , although ‘ Diggia ’ showed his class by scoring two podiums in each of his two seasons riding for the Speed Up team in Moto2™ . He moves back to the Gresini Moto2 squad and a Kalex chassis for 2021 , where he is expected to challenge for the title .

SKY RACING TEAM VR46 After two seasons with the Sky VR46 Junior Team in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship , Celestino Vietti makes his full-time debut in Moto3™ in 2019 with Sky Racing Team VR46 . It resulted in three podiums , sixth in the championship and the ‘ Rookie of the Year ’ title . He won two races in 2020 but fell short in the Moto3™ title race . Now moved up to the Moto2™ class with the same team , Vietti is already looking like one of the best rookies on the 2021 grid .
