Martin entrou para o Campeonato Mundial de Moto3™ em 2015 , depois de vencer a Red Bull Rookies CUP no ano anterior . Ele conseguiu o seu primeiro pódio , em 2016 . Em 2017 , o espanhol transferiu-se para a Del Conca Gresini Racing Moto3™ , terminando em quarto lugar no geral num ano em que acumulou nove poles e uma primeira vitória . Mas 2018 seria o grande ano de Martin quando ele saiu campeão após conseguir sete vitórias . Não passou para Moto2™ com a estrutura KTM de Aki Ajo , em 2019 , mas com sucesso limitado . Mudar para um chassi da Kalex , em 2020 levou a três vitórias , mas suas esperanças de lutar pelo título foram frustradas quando testou positivo para COVID-19 . Ducati viu o suficiente para lhe dar um lugar no esquadrão Pramac para 2021 , e a partir daí ele surpreendeu o paddock como um rookie , ao conquistar uma vitória , mais dois pódios e três poles . Novamente com a mesma equipa , pode ele ser um candidato ao título ?

Martín joined the Moto3™ World Championship in 2015 , after winning the Red Bull Rookies Cup the year before . He scored his first podium in 2016 . For 2017 , the Spaniard moved to Del Conca Gresini Racing Moto3™ when he placed fourth overall in a year that saw him rack up nine pole positions and a first win 2018 would be Martin ’ s year as he emerged victorious after scoring seven victories . He then moved to Moto2™ with Aki Ajo ’ s KTM squad in 2019 but with limited success . A switch to a Kalex chassis in 2020 led to three wins , but his title hopes were dashed by a positive Covid-19 test . Ducati saw enough to hand him a seat in the Pramac squad in 2021 and he stunned the paddock by taking a debut win , two further podiums and three poles . In the same team , could he be an outside title contender ?
