Buriram Meat ball ( Luk Chin Yuen Gin ), Buriram Railway Station
One of the most popular and delicious street food vendors in Buriram and a must-eat item is Luk Chin Yuen Gin behind the Buriram Railway Station , which is recognized as the starting point for the Yuen Gin culture in Buriram . “ Luk Chin Yuen Gin ” is translated as “ eating meat balls while standing .” The reason for having to stand and eat is because it ’ s both convenient and fast - people in the past travelled mostly by train , so they bought meatballs and stood to eat these snacks before continuing their journey . Luk Chin Yuen Gin Festival is held in July every year . The original meatballs in Buriram are made from pork and eaten with traditional dried chilies and tamarind dipping sauce , while the chili paste used for dipping appeared later .
Sin Teen Daeng Mudmee Silk
Sin Teen Daeng Mudmee Silk is silk cloth that is locally unique to Amphoe Phutthaisong and Amphoe Na Pho . “ Sin Hua Daeng Tin Daeng or “ Sin Tin Daeng ” or “ Sin Mi Ruat ”, which has been inherited for more than 200 years , is woven in the same pattern as “ Pha Sin Lao ” using silk in weaving the whole piece , with its head and foot of the fabric in bright red . The product of the Ban Charoen Suk Community in Chaloem Phra Kiat district . Ban Charoen Suk community have used volcanic soil as part of a cloth dyeing process to produce unique bright colored fabric . Firstly , the volcanic soil will be mixed with water . Then , strain off the sediments before soaking cotton threads in the water for about 4 hours . After that , dye the soaked cotton threads in a mixture of water and Padauk bark for long-lasting colors . There are products made from Phu Akkanee fabric such as scarfs , shawls , and shirts . Furthermore , Ban Charoen Suk has developed itself to be a cultural-based tourism community . Not only will the visitors get to experience the local ways of life and see the fabric weaving process , but they can also enjoy their time shopping some souvenir fabric back home .
