Fabio Di Giannantonio nel 2022 che lo aveva visto esordire in MotoGP™ non si era messo in luce ma sul finire di 2023 in Qatar ha vinto la sua prima gara in top class e conquistato l ’ affetto di tanti appassionati . Negli ultimi sette Gran Premi solo Bagnaia e Martin hanno ottenuto più punti di lui : il romano ha ricevuto la chiamata del team VR46 .
