The Italian manufacturer scored an incredible 700 points from an available 728 in the Constructor ’ s Championship last year . And lead riders Pecco and Jorge Martin believe the Desmosedici GP24 is even better than last year ’ s bike .
The ’ 24 Ducati has a new engine with added power , as well as revised aerodynamics , which provide greater braking stability . During testing , riders felt they have lost a little agility . Yet the times don ’ t lie , with Bagnaia a whopping 0.8s under the previous lap records at Sepang and Lusail .
Like 2023 , the factory can boast of eight bikes on the grid and all eight riders can realistically aim for victories in the 21 races ahead . As many as four can feel a title challenge is possible . Its electronics package and smooth power delivery is the envy of the paddock . Once again , the Bologna factory finds itself tremendously placed to match last year ’ s feats .
