MotoGP: Official Programme Malaysian 2024 | Page 22

Martin lit up the second half of MotoGP 2023 with his otherworldly riding and attempts to intimidate eventual champ Bagnaia , making it a title race to remember . Perhaps his challenge could be derailed by talk of his plans for 2025 , when he is sure to leave the Pramac squad of which he has been a part since his MotoGP™ debut year in 2021 . But early performances have shown the 2018 Moto3™ World Champion has lost none of his speed . Should he iron out a few weaknesses – mainly unforced errors – and there ’ s no reason to believe he won ’ t be fighting for the Championship once again . Wins in Portugal and France showed he ’ ll be doing just that , in what will be his final year with Ducati before departing for Aprilia .
