But he ’ s shown so far that adapting to a new bike , new riding style , and , crucially , new team will take time . Yet a rider who has amassed eight world titles and 85 victories is surely good enough to manage it . Now fully adapted to and confident aboard the Desmosedici GP23 , he ’ s shown he is a contender for Bagnaia ’ s crown .
