If Bagnaia ’ s never-say-die attitude brought him the 2022 MotoGP™ World Championship , it was his ability to withstand crushing pressure which resulted in a successful title defence the following year . The Italian lost some of his outright speed in the autumn of last year , but always saved his best for Sunday . He fits seamlessly into Ducati ’ s factory team and has grown in stature now he is a three-time World Champion . Sprint results is one area to improve . But a flawless preseason , when he immediately adapted to an improved Ducati , and victory at Rounds 1 , 4 , 6 and 7 means he ’ s favourite to take his third premier class crown in succession .

Prestaties in Portugal en Italië lieten zien dat hij nog steeds de uitdaging aankan .
