Toprak Razgatlioglu built his reputation through the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup before quickly proving his versatility across production based machinery. Early success included race wins in Superstock 600, followed by a championship title and a rapid transition to 1000cc bikes. Strong performances in Superstock 1000 paved the way to WorldSBK, where Razgatlioglu made an immediate impression with podiums and race victories during his early seasons. A switch to Yamaha proved decisive. In 2021, Razgatlioglu delivered a landmark WorldSBK World Championship, breaking Ducati and Kawasaki dominance. Further runner up finishes confirmed his consistency before a bold move to BMW transformed the landscape. Back to back WorldSBK titles in 2024 and 2025 underlined his exceptional talent and adaptability. For 2026, Razgatlioglu takes on a new challenge with a highly anticipated MotoGP™ debut on Yamaha machinery. Expectations are high as he targets a competitive transition to the premier class.

Toprak Razgatlioglu begint in 2026 aan een nieuw hoofdstuk als MotoGP-rookie, maar aan ervaring ontbreekt het hem allerminst. De spectaculaire Turk bouwde zijn reputatie op in het WorldSBK-kampioenschap, waar hij uitgroeide tot één van de grootste sterren van de paddock. In 2021 veroverde hij met Yamaha zijn eerste wereldtitel, waarna hij twee seizoenen op rij als vicewereldkampioen eindigde. Vervolgens maakte hij de overstap naar BMW en schreef hij opnieuw geschiedenis door in 2024 en 2025 twee opeenvolgende WorldSBK-titels te behalen. Nu keert hij terug bij Yamaha voor zijn debuut in de MotoGP met het Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP Team. Daar wacht hem niet alleen de uitdaging van de koningsklasse, maar ook een belangrijke ontwikkelingsrol. Yamaha werkt volop aan de nieuwe YZR-M1 met V4-motor en de feedback van Razgatlioglu speelt daarin een belangrijke rol. Tegelijkertijd moet hij zich aanpassen aan het unieke tempo, de banden en de intensiteit van de MotoGP.
