Some big question marks hang over Moto3™ in 2026. Those tipped for glory in 2026 already showed great promise in 2025. With last year’ s champion Jose Antonio Rueda and runner up Angel Piqueras moving up to Moto2™, a host of names have been vying for supremacy this year.
Yet one has stood above all others. Last year’ s stand out rookie Maximo Quiles( CFMoto Aspar Team) entered the year as the preseason favourite and ten wins in the first 17 races did little to take away from that thought. Even if he missed the British GP due to a broken collarbone, Marc Marquez’ s protegee returned with three straight victories to claim the world championship with five races to spare.

It hasn’ t all been about Quiles, however, Red Bull KTM Ajo’ s Alvaro Carpe is also proving to be a major player in his second season in the class. As is rookie teammate Brian Uriarte, whose wins at Mugello and the Sachsenring propelled him to the fight for the top three.
Challenges are also likely to come from Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP runner David Almansa after recovering from injury issues. All eyes are on Joel Kelso( Gryd – Mlav Racing) after switching from KTM machinery to Honda. And watch out for Rico Salmela( Red Bull KTM Tech3), who has been one of the year’ s standout rookies. And watch out for Hakim Danish( MT Helmets- MSI), already a Moto3™ race winner, and keen to score a brilliant result in front of the passionate home fans.
