Despite reigning champion Diogo Moreira stepping up to MotoGP™, the other Moto2™ contenders in 2025 have stayed behind to contest another highly competitive season.
Last year saw all kinds of records broken. 18 different riders climbed the podium in the intermediate class and eleven won a race – never has a category seen such variety before.
Of those likely to fight at the front this year, Thai GP winner and last year’ s Mugello winner Manuel Gonzalez( Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) is likely to be back in contention after winning the first race of the year.
CFMoto Aspar Team’ s talented duo of Dani Holgado and David Alonso were the outstanding rookies last term – and both Moto2™ race winners. Now in their second season in the class, both will be keen to mount a serious title challenge. Holgado, in particular, won here majestically last year.
Having backed up his Austin victory with a triumph at Jerez, Senna Agius( Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) has proved he is capable of fighting for the championship this term.
Also keep an eye on BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 runner Izan Guevara, who scored two podiums from the first two races, as well as Celestino Vietti( SpeedRS Team), who rode to a fine second place in Austin.
And Dani Muñoz( Italtrans Racing Team) is another to keep an eye on. The Spaniard’ s second place in Brazil showed he is only getting faster in his first full season in the class.

Tra i protagonisti di questa stagione, il vincitore del GP della Thailandia del GP del Mugello dell’ anno scorso, Manuel Gonzalez( Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP).

Vittoria ad Austin e poi a Jerez: Senna Agius( Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) ha dato prova di poter lottare per il Campionato quest’ anno.
Attenzione anche a Izan Guevara del team BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2, con lo spagnolo che ha conquistato due podi nelle prime due gare e da non dimenticare nemmeno Celestino Vietti( SpeedRS Team), secondo ad Austin.
Occhio anche a Dani Muñoz( Italtrans Racing Team) che con il secondo posto in Brasile ha dimostrato di andare sempre più forte alla sua prima stagione completa in categoria.
