Il debutto a tempo pieno nei GP per Bezzecchi è arrivato nel 2017 , quando ha corso per CIP Mahindra . Passato alla squadra PruestelGP KTM nel 2018 , ha lottato per il titolo con tre vittorie e altri sei podi . Poi un battesimo del fuoco nella stagione da rookie in Moto2™ con un telaio KTM non competitivo : il passaggio al team Sky Racing VR46 , nel 2020 , e una ciclistica Kalex , lo hanno portato a due vittorie e altri quattro podi . Nel 2021 era chiamato alla bagarre per il titolo , ma non è successo nonostante una vittoria e sette top 3 . È passato in MotoGP™ nel 2022 con il Mooney VR46 Racing Team , in sella a una Ducati GP21 .

A full-time debut arrived for Bezzecchi in 2017 , when he contested the year aboard the underpowered CIP Mahindra machine . He moved to the PruestelGP KTM squad for 2018 and fought for the championship , scoring three wins and six further podiums along the way . He endured a baptism of fire in his rookie Moto2™ campaign aboard an uncompetitive KTM chassis , but a switch to the Sky Racing VR46 team and Kalex hardware for 2020 resulted in two Moto2™ race wins and four further podiums . He was expected to kick on and fight for the title in the same set-up in 2021 , but that never quite materialised , despite one race win and seven podiums . He moves up to MotoGP™ in 2022 with Mooney VR46 Racing Team aboard a Ducati GP21 .
