In 125 nel 2005 , in 250 a metà 2006 e tre anni dopo a piedi . Questo l ’ inizio di Aleix Espargaro sulla scena internazionale , ripreso nel 2009 in MotoGP™ con il team Pramac , come sostituto . In quattro gare si è guadagnato un posto a tempo pieno in top class per l ’ anno successivo . Ha vinto due titoli di classe CRT nel 2012 e 2013 . Nel 2015 ha portato la Suzuki , rientrata dopo tre anni di assenza , a essere competitiva . Ha fatto lo stesso con Aprilia nel 2017 , quando ha ottenuto due brillanti top 6 . Per la casa di Noale , nel 2021 , ha ottenuto il primo podio in MotoGP™ dal 2000 . Ha inoltre chiuso a meno di 10 secondi dal vincitore in 8 gare su 18 . Dopo ulteriori miglioramenti , il 2022 sarà all ’ insegna delle vittorie ?

Espargaro skipped quickly from 125cc in 2005 to the 250cc class midway through 2006 until he found himself without a ride three years later . But a substitute ride in 2009 for Pramac Ducati in the MotoGP™ class put this Catalan on the map . His four showings earned him a full-time call up for a full MotoGP™ campaign the following year . From there Espargaro won two CRT class titles in 2012 and 2013 . He brought Suzuki – returning to the class after a three-year absence – up to speed in 2015 and did the same for Aprilia in 2017 , when he scored two brilliant top six finishes . He led Aprilia ’ s resurgence in the class in 2021 , scoring the factory ’ s first MotoGP™ podium since 2000 . Furthermore , he finished less than 10s off the race winner in 8 of 18 contests . After further bike improvements , can he now kick on and fight for race wins in 2022 ?
