Fabio Di Giannantonio ha suscitato scalpore nel 2016 , stagione d ’ esordio nei GP , quando ha messo in ombra i più celebrati debuttanti Nicolò Bulega e Aron Canet con i colori della squadra Gresini Moto3™ . Nel 2017 e 2018 il sogno del titolo non si è concretizzato . ‘ Diggia ’ ha dimostrato di che pasta è fatto conquistando due podi nelle sue prime due stagioni in Moto2™con il team Speed Up . Tornato ai colori della squadra Gresini Moto2™ e al telaio Kalex , nel 2021 , salvo una brillante vittoria a Jerez , non è riuscito a combattere regolarmente per le prime posizioni . Ha comunque ricevuto una chiamata per entrare nel team satellite Ducati di Gresini nel 2022 , in sella a una GP21 .

Fabio Di Giannantonio caused a stir in 2016 – his debut season in Grand prix – by outshining more fancied rookies Nicolo Bulega and Aron Canet across 18 races while riding for the Gresini Moto3™ squad . An expected championship challenge never quite materialised in 2017 or 2018 when riding for the same squad , although ‘ Diggia ’ showed his class by scoring two podiums in each of his two seasons riding for the Speed Up team in Moto2™ . He moved back to the Gresini Moto2 squad and a Kalex chassis for 2021 , but aside from a brilliant win at Jerez , he failed to fight at the front regularly . Still , he received a call up to Gresini ’ s satellite Ducati team for 2022 where he will contest the season aboard a GP21 .
