Proof that hard work truly can create an impressive trajectory, Luca Marini applies himself to every challenge with methodical determination. That saw him rise from a difficult Moto3 debut to Moto2 frontrunner and, eventually, MotoGP™ podium finisher with the VR46 team on a Ducati. He then chose to take a new turn and join Honda for a completely different challenge: leveraging his technical know-how to help bring the giants back to the top. In 2024 his approach was simple – mileage, mileage, mileage – but points began to arrive towards the end of the season. He showed he was ready to continue that progress in the first half of 2025, despite suffering a nasty injury during testing in Japan.
