One of the three rookies on the 2025 grid, Fermin Aldeguer made his own way to MotoGP™, progressing from the Stock European Championship to the Moto2 European Championship, then MotoE, before stepping up to the Moto2 World Championship. By the end of 2023 his form was so strong that some feared the 2024 Moto2 season could be a clean sweep. It wasn’ t – at times it proved tougher – but it was a year he will take lessons from as he makes the move up. That 2023 form, and flashes of it last season, showed just how fast he is – as does his CV. The first half of 2025 suggests he has already settled in very quickly indeed.
