With more races across more countries than ever, a powerhouse grid promises thrilling battles from the start. From Thailand to Spain, Argentina to America, and stunning backdrops like Mandalika and Portimão, get ready for an unforgettable season!
If recent form is any gauge, there is a clear favourite heading to Indonesia: Marc Marquez is on course to record one of the most dominant MotoGP™ campaigns in history, and is keen to extend his run at a circuit where he has never finished a race.
After crashing out of the Spanish GP, the six-time MotoGP™ World Champion underlined his title credentials with a run of five straight victories, from Aragon to Brno. Incredibly, he also won 14 of the first 15 Sprints of the year, ensuring he carried a 120-point lead into the summer break.
His main competition is likely to come from Alex Marquez( BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), who entered the title fight after scoring his first MotoGP™ victory at Jerez.
The Catalan has been the breakout star of the year and looks on course to secure second place in the championship.
Pecco Bagnaia( Ducati Lenovo Team) will be eager to bounce back from a tough mid-season run of results. The two-time MotoGP™ World Champion also has form at this venue, having won here in 2023 with a brilliant ride from 13th on the grid.
Marco Bezzecchi( Aprilia Racing) has been the rider taking the fight to the Marquez brothers in recent rounds. He won the Sprint at Misano and followed it up with a close second on Sunday. Team-mate Jorge Martin has also been strong at this venue, claiming a superb MotoGP™ victory here in 2024.
