The Tissot Sprint isn’ t the only racing fans can enjoy on a Saturday. At seven European Grands Prix in 2025, the grandstands on site and viewers around the world get the chance to watch not one, but two races for the MotoE™ World Championship.
Nem a Tissot Sprint az egyetlen verseny, amit a rajongók a szombati napon élvezhetnek. A 2025-ös idény hét európai nagydíján nem egy, hanem két MotoE™ világbajnoki futamot is láthatnak a helyszíni lelátókon ülők és a világ minden tájáról figyelő nézők.
MotoE started as a Cup with mostly singlerace rounds, and now it’ s grown into a World Championship comprising solely double headers – seven of them in 2025. It’ s now with Ducati machinery too, with the V21L breaking records when it debuted as the bike for everyone on the MotoE grid in 2023. As from its inception in 2019, MotoE races on Michelin rubber with an impressive amount of recycled and sustainable materials in them. The combination makes some of the most spectacular racing action of a Grand Prix weekend.
Proving how close the competition really is – and at times, how unpredictable – the 2024 season saw the title fight go right the way down to the final round, the sixth straight time MotoE™ has delivered such a conclusion. So the pressure is on for 2025 to deliver even more.
A MotoE kezdetben kupasorozatként indult, többnyire egyfutamos versenyhétvégékkel, ami mára teljes világbajnoksággá nőtte ki magát kizárólag dupla futamokkal, amely 2025-ben hét alkalommal kerül megrendezésre. A gépparkot immáron a Ducati biztosítja. A V21L versenygép már 2023-as debütálásakor rekordokat döntött és azóta is ezzel a modellel áll rajthoz a MotoE mezőnyben minden versenyző. A kezdetektől, vagyis 2019 óta használják a Michelin abroncsokat a MotoE bajnokságban, amelyek meggyőző arányban tartalmaznak újrahasznosított és fenntartható anyagokat, ez a kombináció pedig egyedülálló versenyélményt nyújt a nagydíjhétvégék során.
A versenyek szorosságát- és időnként kiszámíthatatlanságát- jól mutatja, hogy a bajnoki cím sorsa a 2024-es szezonban az utolsó fordulóban dőlt el, amely nem egyedi eset, mivel immáron hatodik éve zárul így a MotoE™ idény. A 2025-ös évadban tehát nagy a tét, hogy ez a szám tovább nőjön.
A mezőnyt illetően a regnáló bajnok Héctor Garzó a Dynavolt Intact GP csapattal tér vissza, a 2023-as világbajnok Mattia Casadei pedig újra az LCR E-Team színeiben versenyez. Rajtuk kívül korábbi kupagyőztesek, Jordi Torres( Aspar Team) és Matteo Ferrari( Felo Gresini
