If recent form is a gauge, there is a clear favourite coming to Hungary: Marc Marquez( Ducati Lenovo Team) is on course for one of the most dominant campaigns in MotoGP™ history.
After crashing out of the Spanish GP, the six-time MotoGP™ World Champion strengthened his title credentials with a run of five straight victories, from Aragon to Brno. Incredibly, he also won eleven of the first twelve Sprints of the year, ensuring he carried a 120-point lead into the summer break.

Miután a Spanyol Nagydíjon bukott, zsinórban öt győzelmet aratott Aragontól Brno-ig, célkitűzéseit egyértelműen jelezve. Elképesztő módon az eddig megrendezett tizenkettő Sprint futamból tizenegyet megnyert, így 120 pontos előnnyel érkezett a nyári szünetre.
Competition will likely come from two-time MotoGP™ World Champion Pecco Bagnaia( Ducati Lenovo Team). It was a tough first half of the year for the Italian. Despite winning in Austin, he has struggled to find confidence with Ducati’ s GP25 and costly crashes in France and the UK hampered his title hopes.
Yet not even Marquez or Bagnaia could claim to be the breakout star of the year. That honour falls to Alex Marquez( BK8 Gresini Racing

Annak ellenére, hogy Austinban nyerni tudott, nem igazán találta meg az összehangot a GP25-ös Ducatival, és Franciaországban, valamint Angliában elszenvedett bukásai eléggé hátráltatták a világbajnoki címért folytatott küzdelemben.
Azonban mégsem Marquezre, vagy Bagnaiára gondolunk, ha az év egyik kiemelkedő sztárját kellene megneveznünk, hiszen ez a titulus egyértelműen Alex Marquezt
