Staying on for a second season brought further growth, capped by a maiden Grand Prix victory and confirmation of his potential at world level. A move to Moto2™ in 2024 marked another step forward. Adapting quickly with Italtrans, Moreira delivered a strong rookie campaign and secured his first podium at the season finale, again earning Rookie of the Year recognition. Momentum surged in 2025. Consistent victories and a remarkable late season charge saw Moreira overturn a significant points deficit to claim the Moto2™ World Championship in dramatic fashion. Graduation to MotoGP™ follows for 2026 with LCR Honda. Moreira arrives carrying confidence, momentum and the clear target of establishing himself as a leading rookie in the premier class.

Nach seinen Erfolgen im Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup ging es für Diogo Moreira rasch durch die Nachwuchsklassen. Es folgte sein Debüt als Stammfahrer in der Moto3™, wo er regelmäßig unter die ersten Sechs fuhr und 2022 den Titel „ Rookie of the Year“ einfahren konnte. Eine zweite Saison brachte weitere Fortschritte, gekrönt von seinem ersten Grand-Prix-Sieg. Der Wechsel in die Moto2™ im Jahr 2024 markierte einen weiteren Meilenstein.
