vi giunga da Misano World Circuit un caloroso benvenuto nella Riders ’ Land , un luogo magico nel quale la passione per il motorsport ha saputo generare una grande tradizione che riguarda l ’ industria , gli eventi e i piloti .
La Riders ’ Land è il cuore della Motor Valley , che in poco più di 100 km riunisce tutti i brand a due e quattro ruote dell ’ Emilia-Romagna . Un distretto senza eguali nel mondo , con 13 musei specializzati , 18 collezioni private e quattro autodromi per le gare sportive , 188 team tra club e scuderie , nonché 11 piste da karting .
La Motor Valley è una realtà rappresentata 16.500 imprese con oltre 66.326 addetti e un export di quasi 5 miliardi di euro , che può vantare anche sei corsi di laurea specialistici per il settore . In questi anni tutto ciò è diventato un patrimonio turistico che ha attirato , nel 2019 e cioè prima della pandemia , oltre 2 milioni di visitatori , con un giro d ’ affari di 320 milioni di euro .
Nasce da qui , nella Riders ’ Land , dove sono nati o vivono decine di piloti protagonisti sulle piste di tutto il mondo nelle gare di motociclismo , il Gran Premio Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini .
Misano World Circuit , intitolato a Marco Simoncelli , è il teatro che ospita uno dei più importanti spettacoli sportivi al mondo e l ’ organizzazione dell ’ evento è garantita da una alleanza virtuosa fra Istituzioni e la Santa Monica SpA , società proprietaria del circuito .
Nonostante le limitazioni conseguenti alla pandemia , abbiamo lavorato molto per presentarci al meglio e siamo nel pieno della realizzazione di un programma che prevede forti investimenti per mantenere la struttura nell ’ elite dei circuiti mondiali , dove si disputano le gare più appassionanti del motorsport .
Lo scorso anno organizzammo due Gran Premi consecutivi , quest ’ anno l ’ appuntamento tradizionale di settembre vedrà una seconda tappa ad ottobre . Sarà una grande festa per salutare il rappresentante più straordinario della Riders ’ Land , Valentino Rossi , che per l ’ ultima volta correrà in MotoGP™ nella sua terra . On behalf of Misano World Circuit I extend to you all a warm welcome in the Rider ’ s Land , a magical place in which passion for motorsport has been able to achieve a huge tradition as far as industry , events , and riders are concerned .
The Rider ’ s Land is the heart of Motor Valley , which in little more than 100km , unites all brands of two and four wheels of Emilia-Romagna . A district without par worldwide , with 13 specialized museums , 18 private collections and four race tracks for sports competitions , 188 teams also considering clubs , and 11 karting tracks .
The Motor Valley is an environment that contains 16,500 companies with over 66,326 staff , and an export of almost 5 billion euro , which can boast another six specialized bachelors courses in the field . In recent years , all of this has become a touristic heritage which attracted in 2019 , the year before the start of the pandemic , over 2 million visitors , with a turnover of 320 million euro .
It ’ s here , in the Riders ’ Land , where dozens of the protagonists of motorcycle racing on tracks all over the world , were born or currently live .
Misano World Circuit , named after Marco Simoncelli , is the scene which hosts one of the most important sporting events in the world and the organization of the event is guaranteed by a virtuous alliance between Institutions and Santa Monica SpA , owning company of the circuit .
Despite the limitations brought by the pandemic , we have worked hard to present ourselves in the best way possible . We are in the midst of the realization of a program which foresees strong investments to keep the structure within the elite of the world circuits , where the most passionate of motorsport races take place . Last year we organized two consecutive Grand Prix , this year the traditional September meeting will see a second stage in October .
Il will be a great event to greet the most extraordinary rider of the Rider ’ s Land , Valentino Rossi , who for the last time will race in MotoGP™ in his homeland . Together with you all , we will thank him for the emotions he has given us in these years .
